![]() I'm assuming "Destroy" also just shows a GIF and a single text line afterwards? Wouldn't surprise me. Both unlock the same thing (minus the achievement). Hard mode is unlocked whether you integrate or destroy.įurther confirms how useless this all is. Why force people back in the gutter? It's not edgy or "cool" or anything. ![]() It's actually pretty mediocre at the start. Like, the "fresh" experience isn't like rerolling a character in an RPG. So since there's no way of keeping progress *and* complete the game, I just don't really wanna play anymore. ![]() Or, you know, just be flavor RP crap and not delete the save. I chose Integrate because of what the AI says like oh hey, this sounds like "hard mode" now that "they've adapted to my data." Integrate = Hard Mode unlock and then just "Continue" every subsequent run Originally posted by Kirzan:It should clearly be:ĭestroy = Reset but very clearly identified. Apparently it was more than a thematic run end decision. Hopefully it can be made clearer so individuals in the future don't lose their hard-fought progress by (at least in our thought process at that end moment) trying to have mercy and help out big robo-boss protect the nutty folks on the Arc. I'm hoping it's a bug, however if not then what's done is done. ![]() Thematically I can see the angle how it makes some sense in hindsight, but changing a players save should be blatantly obvious (i'd argue it's a rare occasion where it's acceptable to break the 4th wall to be thoroughly clear to the player what is happening.) ![]() There are few games that erase/alter your saves, and it's not a choice to be made lightly or vaguely when it comes to player time and progress. If intentional I implore the devs to make that clearer before it happens. Only to find that this reset our save file seemingly without obvious prompting. My buddy and I finished our first whole run and chose to integrate with the Kore for reasons. ![]()
